Turkey Burger

226g Woolwich Dairy CHEVRAI Original Goat Cheese Crumbles

1lb ground turkey

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

1 large egg, beaten

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 cucumber, sliced

1 tomato, sliced

1 head of lettuce, divided

4 burger buns

 

Avocado Mayo

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 avocado, skin removed

salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat grill to 375° F.
  2. Combine ground turkey, garlic, egg and bread crumbs in a bowl. 
  3. With cold water dampened hands, shape into 4 ¾” thick patties and place on a tray. Cover and refrigerate until ready to grill.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whip together the mayo and avocado, adding salt and pepper to taste.  
  5. Lightly oil the grate and grill each burger for 6 minutes per side, or until entirely cooked through.
  6. Serve on fresh burger buns, garnishing with tomato, cucumber, lettuce, avocado mayo and Woolwich Dairy CHEVRAI Original Goat Cheese Crumbles
